My goal is to give every customer an enjoyable and entertaining fishing trip. I work very hard to provide each customer with a successful trip. I keep my boat, gear and tackle in top condition. I'm fully licensed by Oklahoma, Texas, and USCG. I have been fishing on Lake Texoma for over 18 years and guiding for the past 10 years. Book a trip with me and I'm sure I can teach you a few things about catching Striped Bass.

On my trips you get 100 percent of my time. I'm not a guide who fishes while you ride along. I focus my time and energy helping my customers catch fish. My experience helps me spot and point out the little things that help people catch fish.

I enjoy challenge of being a fishing guide. I love to teach beginners and experienced fisherman/women how to catch Striped Bass on Lake Texoma. I operate a very professional service and work hard to insure my client's success.

"The trophy fish I've landed are secondary to the fishing knowledge I've received. Scott's experience, knowledge and ability to read the water has always provided me the best opportunities to catch fish." Casey Ryan, Dallas TX

"Everyone limited out and my 12 year old grandson Matthew put a 10 pound Striper on the wall. Scott is a professional, a super nice guy and a lot of fun to fish with. I will definitely book with Scott again for family and client trips." Chris Van Rite, Fort Worth, TX

"As the Project Healing Waters Coordinator at Fort Hood, I can say that Scott is more than generous with this program. He donates his time, guide service, and lodging doing week-ends for the soldiers. On one of my resent trips the soldiers fished for two days and caught their limit of fish. Scott cleaned and bagged their fish both days. The soldiers had a wonderful time and they talked about it all the way home. At the end of the trip, Scott was already planning the next one. He has been a real asset for PHWFF." Bill Adams, Coordinator, Project Healing Waters Fly-Fishing, Fort Hood, Texas

Lake Texoma

Fishing Report from TPWD (Apr. 16)

FAIR. Water stained; 62 degrees; 1.34 feet below pool. Striper fishing is hit-and-miss with the weather and winds. Watch for the gusts at the end of this week and plan your trip accordingly. Texoma gets big swells and there are several marinas to launch from on the southern edge of the lake especially as the stripers move up the Red River and Washita River with inflow. Live bait on flats and ledges in 30-45 feet of water is producing limits of box fish. Look for bigger fish to be shallow near the rivers on points and humps. Crappie are scattered in the creeks as they spawn and wrap up spawning. A few fish being caught around docks and brush in 8-12 feet of water on jigs. Look at creeks and shallow water with the warm days and rain! Bass fishing will improve with the stained water and rise in lake levels. Fish will be near rocks and gravel as the shad spawn is kicking off, as well as on docks early in the mornings. Starting to see blue catfish, channel catfish, and flathead catfish showing up. Stumps and brush on points hold flathead this time of year, blue catfish are in deeper water suspended as the shad move higher in the water column. Channels will be along the rocks on punch baits and prepared baits. Report by Jacob Orr, Lake Texoma, Guaranteed Guide Service. Striped bass are hit-and-miss under the birds. Nice clear days are tougher, but fish are actively feeding on cloudy days with wind. Cast swimbaits to structure allowing the lure to sink then slowly roll back to the boat. Shad are spawning along the banks indicating a topwater bite will begin soon. Report by John Blasingame, Adventure Texoma Outdoors.
