COME OUT TO PELICAN'S LANDING WATERFRONT RESTAURANT on June 24, 2017, at 6:00 p.m for a solo performance by T.A. Brauer.

T.A. Brauer began his musical journey at age 6 when he began the formal study of piano. He continued his studies in piano, trumpet and, along the way, added guitar to the mix.

He has been a member of many bands including ABC Dot recording artist, Jeris Ross and the Badlands Band, Toby Keith Covel's Easy Money Band, East Country, Stampede Band and many others.

Brauer has performed at many venues, both large and small across the State of Oklahoma and in Texas. As a member of various bands, has opened for such acts as Sawyer Brown and Johnny Paycheck.

After several years performing with other bands T.A. formed and led his own bands performing lead vocals, keyboards and guitar on covers and original material.

Approximately 25 years ago, with a growing appreciation for singer-songwriters, and a desire to connect with his audience, Brauer began playing more intimate settings, primarily as a solo artist, and continues to do so today. Brauer favors venues such as state and county fairs, wine gardens, restaurants, social gatherings, private parties, class reunions, dinner parties, music festivals, art festivals and corporate events.

In addition to his repertoire of over 450 covers, T.A. composes and performs his original material, all of which comes from actual life experiences. Having sailed boats since age 11 to present, T.A. appreciates music with maritime and summer influences.

T.A.'s vast repertoire spans a variety of musical styles including, but not limited to, Jimmy Buffett, Waylon Jennings, Jethro Tull, Guy Clark, John Prine Jerry Jeff Walker, Willie Nelson, Zac Brown, Eric Clapton, Beach Boys, Blaze Foley, Harry Chapin, Beatles, Rolling Stones, Eagles, Eddy Raven, Cat Stevens, Kris Kristofferson, Billy Joe Shaver, Robert Earl Keen, Earl Thomas Conley, George Strait, Merle Haggard, Dean Martin, Neil Diamond and many, many others.

Brauer continues to perform regularly at music festivals, car shows, restaurants, churches and private functions throughout the year.
Brauer is a former board member of the Midwestern Country Music Entertainers Association and is currently a member of the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publisher.

Fishing Report from TPWD (Mar. 19)

FAIR. Water stained; 52 degrees; 2.56 feet below pool. Striped bass fishing will improve with warmer nights and longer days. Live bait is working on deep flats and river ledges, swimbaits are working under active birds and on structures in 20-30 feet of water. Fish are towards the ends of the lake. Crappie are moving towards brush and rocks in the muddy creeks and coves. Jigs and minnows will produce catches on the right day. Bass will become more active as the water temperature creep into the 60s. Look for fish to move on stumps and structure. Soft plastics and slow presentations are still producing bites. Catfishing remains tough but fish are being caught on the main lake in deeper water on cut shad and whole shad. Marinas full of bait will produce fish in deep water as well. Report by Jacob Orr, Lake Guaranteed Guide Service. Striped bass bite is tough while fish start to transition to tributaries to spawn. Fish can be caught on structure with swimbaits and Alabama rigs. There is a live bait bite in deep water. Report by John Blasingame, Adventure Texoma Outdoors.
