Wayne's Striper Guide Service is ready to take you, your family or your friends on a wonderful striped bass fishing experience on board his 23' Falcon I/O boat in pursuit of some feisty and tasty stripers.
Capt. Wayne, a full time USCG licensed professional fishing guide and adheres to the Coast Guard regulations of carrying no more than 6 fishermen. With your safety in mind, the boat is equipped with all the USCG mandated safety equipment required of those guides holding Merchant Mariner Credentials.
The boat is also outfitted with all the equipment needed to locate the fish and we will supply all the fishing gear needed for folks of all ages and fishing skills to hopefully, catch these fish. While I may spend time in nearly every part of the lake fishing, I normally launch and pick up customers at Alberta Creek or the Catfish bay area.

Fishing Report from TPWD (Dec. 11)

GOOD. Water stained; 58 degrees; 0.85 feet above pool. Striped bass fishing is excellent as water temperatures continue to drop. Fish are forming large schools in river channels and along ledges. Deadsticking flukes on a jig head are effective when fished suspended in deep water or along the bottom on flats. Live shad are still producing limits of quality fish. Larger fish can be found near coves and humps on structures in 8–15 feet of water. Crappie fishing is slow with electronics to locate brush and structure in 15–20 feet of water, where fish will be holding tight to the brush. Catfishing is good, with bigger fish moving up toward rivers and congregating along flats and ledges. They are feeding more frequently in the colder water. Drift large gizzard shad, cut rough fish chunks, or cut shad along the bottom in 35-50 feet of water off river channels. Bass fishing is fair as the water temperatures drop fish are becoming more active around midday along structure and main lake points. Shad have mostly moved to deeper water, though gizzard shad can still be found in the backs of coves and marinas where the shallower water warms up quicker during the day. Report by Jacob Orr, Lake Guaranteed Guide Service. Striped bass are good in 10-15 feet on structure with swimbaits. Some deadsticking action with a 4-5 inch weighted fluke, but the best action is on slabs in 32-60 feet of water. Bird action will lead the way to the deeper fish. Still not seeing the big fish in bigger groups like what is typically for this time of year, but expect this to improve as the water cools. Report by John Blasingame, Adventure Texoma Outdoors.
