Laketexoma.com was hoping to do this coverage of a beloved band in a laid back venue like what you find outside of Austin without the big concert hoopla, in Texomaland, quite a while back. We finally got there. Where?
The venue was the Gar Hole in Anna, Texas, a mere bunny’s hop from Van Alstyne. Mickey and the Motorcars performed. The evening combined all the elements for a perfect early Sunday night round of beers, a great Red Dirt/Alt band with road stories, and a free and easy atmosphere.
